Purchased by EuroEast in 2004, this 911 started out as a 1974 911 with a steel wide-body conversion, a tired 3.2L and a broken 915 gear box.
As you probably realized by now, we take our adopted mantra “...leaving well enough alone is never and option.”, very seriously around here.

The time has finally come to start the build up of what has become affectionately known in the Gruppe B circles as the, “Blingmobile”.
The suspension, brakes, fuel tank, and front fenders are now off of the Blingmobile. We have started the daunting task of stripping all of the old undercoating to see what past sins were committed during the 32 years this 911 has been on the road.
Not surprising, we found evidence of previous accident damage as well as the common battery box corrosion from a leaky battery. Both can be repaired correctly without much drama.
The wiring is going to be another story. The proverbial ‘rat’s nest’ will have to be sorted. The combination of 32 year old wiring and several years of splices are a fire waiting to happen.
